Sewing Classes for Adults and Teens

Learn to sew with The City Seamstress in the heart of Dublin's Liberties every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Perfect for beginners and intermediates.

Sewing, dressmaking and fashion design lessons. Classes run year round. Refreshments and sewing machines provided. Very small class numbers so you get plenty of individual attention.

Learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine, or learn how to read dressmaking patterns or draft your first fashion design block. Try out some home decor, or learn how to up-cycle vintage clothing or make some basic alterations such as inserting zippers or shortening hems.

Learn in a fun and friendly environment, with new machines, plenty of deskspace and lots of creative inspiration.

Attend a two-hour class, once a week for three or six weeks consecutively. Cost includes everything you need for your first beginners project. The admission / costing is €90 per three week block / €180 per six weeks.

Class times are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings, 6pm – 8pm, morning class held on Wednesdays 11am – 1pm.
