Sewing Classes for Adults and Teens

Learn to sew with The City Seamstress in the heart of Dublin's Liberties every Tuesday and Wednesday. Perfect for beginners and intermediates.

Adults and teens sewing, dressmaking and fashion design lessons. Classes take place every Tuesday and Wednesday, year round. Attend a two hour class, once a week for three or six weeks. Cost includes everything you need for your first beginners project. Refreshments and sewing machines provided. Small class numbers so you get plenty of individual attention. Learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine, or learn how to read dressmaking patterns or draft your first fashion design block. Try out some home decor such as table runners or cushion covers, or learn how to up-cycle vintage clothing or make some basic alterations such as inserting zippers or shortening hems. Learn in a fun and friendly environment, with new machines, plenty of deskspace and lots of creative inspiration. Booking essential, limited places!

The admission / costing is €30 per two hour class.
Class times are Tuesdays 6pm-8pm, Wednesday morning 11am-1pm and Wednesday evening 6pm-8pm.
