Mould Making and Slip Casting with Adele Stanley

Two-day course taking place on Saturday 9th and Saturday 16th June

Slip casting is a ceramic technique in which any object can be cast hollow in clay. A layer of clay is formed on the inside of a plaster mould; multiple casts can be taken from one mould.

In this two-day course you will be guided through the techniques of mould making and slip casting. On the first Saturday you will make a plaster mould(s) and on the second Saturday you will take casts from these using liquid clay (slip).

Bring a few objects to cast from. Lunch will be provided.
