Learn the ancient art of Viking ‘knit’ wire jewellery

Learn the ancient art of Viking 'knitting' – an intricate wire weaving technique used to make bracelets, necklaces and earrings. You'll get step-by-step instructions in this fun and relaxed three-hour workshop. All materials and tools will be provided and participants will go home with at least one piece of jewellery they made themselves. The classes will be run by Eimear Vize, a jewellery designer and maker based in Inistioge, Co Kilkenny. Each class is limited to ten people. No previous jewellery making experience is required. This is a limited series of only three workshops so early booking is advised.

Saturday 28th August: 2-5pm
Sunday 29th August: 2-5pm
