Galway Potters Market

Potter's market with a participatory element.

For one day, 15 potters and ceramic artists from around Ireland will be presenting their work directly to the public in this unique event in the heart of Galway during the Galway Arts Festival. The public will be able to enjoy a wide diversity of pottery and ceramics in an outdoor market setting, and also watch the potters demonstrating some of their skills and have access to information about the potter's craft.

The participation of 'Pitch for Shane' will give an opportunity to everyone to make their own clay figure to be part of an installation in memory of all victims of gang violence.
