Do you have what it takes to become a Future Maker? Are you interested in developing your career in the craft industry? Would you like the opportunity to travel, research and learn more about your craft?

The Design & Crafts Council of Irelands ‘Future Makers’ awards and supports provide funding to students and recent graduates of craft based disciplines.

Future Makers Awards & Supports are designed to support students and recent graduates of full-time craft based studies or training to pursue a career in the craft industry.

Future Makers Awards & Supports fund research, training, residencies, materials, exhibitions and more. Future Makers aim to help you to learn, experience, investigate, develop,create and craft the future for the next generation.

There is €24,000 of awards and supports in 2014, open to application by students engaged in a fulltime course of study in a design or craft based discipline and to those who have graduated or established a craft enterprise in the past 6 years.

Future Makers Awards & Supports 2014 is now closed for applications.
